Question

Locked

Printer Color Off

By Snuffy09 ·
I just reinstalled a printer for my mom because the printer software was crashing.

Now when it prints the color is off.. now the Black colors have a bland purple tint, nothing i do seems to change this problem.

The cartridges are in the right slots and they are clean and new.

Please help

Also try the built in DEMO page....

Usually, printers have some sort of DEMO Mode which can be printed by using just the buttons on the printer itself without the computer involved. Look at the User's Manual to figure out how to make the printer print that way. If the colors come out correctly, the problem is on the computer (drivers or software). If it still comes out with the wrong colors, the problem is in the printer, either bad/clogged cartridges or physical wear and tear damage to the printer itself which might necessitate replacing the printer.
