Open notepad. Click the Start button, click Run. Type in "notepad" and press ENTER. But wait, don't type in the quotes, because you will get an error. A window should come up called, "Untitled -Notepad". Type in "This is a test page". But wait, don't type in the quotes. Click File, then click Save As. You have to save this file you created that will be used for your test page to the C: drive. So click the box where it says Save in: and find the C Drive. In field marked File name: type "test" and click Save. But wait, don't type in the quotes or you will get an error. Now close Windows and restart. Log onto the workstation again. Now click the Start button, click Run and type in "CMD". But wait. Okay, now type into the Command Prompt window, "print C:\test.txt /c /d:LPT1", but wait, don't type this in with the quotes. Your print test page has printed successfully!

Okay, I realize that was mean. Control Panel > Printers. Open the printer. File > Properties. Click Print Test Page.

This is a tech. problem, in search of a solution.

It properly belongs in "Technical Q&A," not in "Discussions."

Please re-post there.

Thank you.
