printer driver confusion

I have a user who gets this message when he tries to print to ONE particular printer on our network.

“Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup. Try one or more of the following........"

I uninstalled then reinstalled the printer but recieved the same message.

The true confusion came when I realised that if I was logged in as domain admin on that same machine I can then print perfectly. Shouldn't I be using the same driver files as I'm on the same machine. I checked the printer permissions and the user is not blocked. Plus everyone else can print to the printer.

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this ?

You need to find out if it is a problem with the user setup or the PC setup.

Try having another user log into the machine and try to print to that printer. Also have the user who cannot print try doing so from another PC.

Definitely sounds like a permissions problem.

I agree, it is a permission's problem. But that means it should be able to solve it by giving that person permission. But no groups, including the ones he is a member of are denied printer permissions. Even after I gave him full control of the printer he still unable to print. But I'll try having him print from another PC.
