I have bought a HP Laser Jet 4050 PCL6 printer form some one. i connected this with my computer through LPT1 port. switch on the printer i display Ready. when i print any thing from any program from my computer printer do not do any thing. i just display ready. when i tried to print Menu Map from printer keys it print very well. but do nothing when print any thing from computer. i bring parallel port to USB cable form market and when connect it with PC my PC detect the printer but the problem is same it doesn’t not print any thing from computer. I missed to tell you that when i connect through LPT1 my PC detect the printer as well and install windows built in drivers. i tried this on many pc’s but the same problem. please help me to resolve this. I restored my printer on factory default and also done memory reset.
