Printer Problems

I have a wireless network (Linksys) with a desktop and a laptop both with XP. I installed a wireless al in one printer. It works fine. Problem is on th install on the desktop PC.. the wired printer disappeared. If I try to reinstall the printer i get an error “printer spool cannot be found). The wireless printer works, but want to install the attached printer as the default printer for the desktop.
