    Printer Setup for Excel

How do you keep printer settings for each page in an Excel workbook? We use a laptop and when we move to another location the settings all change. We have to then redo all the printer settings for each page.

If the issue you describe is Excel not keeping all the margins, layouts, grid lines on/off and so on then the solution is to make those seetings on the page by using file>page setup and doing what you want. The choices you make with page setup will stick.

As an alternative, have you considered recording a macro to print what you want? Not only will it be quicker but Excel will save every choice you make in setup. So it always prints the same way, every time.

      Good luck on your solution!!!

You can create 2 templates in excel and it will save your farmatting and printer settings. Save each as a XLT or Excel template. Name th etemplates PC and LAPTOP so you know which is for which.

      Hope this helps.
