The basic is that you go to those computers you wanted to use that printer, then individually install that printer as a network printer.

      Good luck.

Install printer on your Win2000, share it, take note of the share name. Then go to each other individual computer and run your Printer Wizard and install as a network printer. Locate your Win2000 Computer and install.

Probably the easiest way is to first of all, make sure all of the computers are using the same workgroup name. It will help in connecting through Network Neighborhood/Places or whatever. Install the printer and share it out. With W2K, you can have other drivers available for other OS’s if you choose to do so by clicking on the Additional Drivers button on the Sharing Tab. Just like someone else mentioned, users that want to use this printer will probably have to authenticate to the W2K pc so make sure everyone has a username and password and that they are added as users on the W2K pc. You can browse over to the W2K machine after all of this has been done with Network Neigborhood/Places and right click on the shared out printer and connect to it. Hope this helps.
