I have four computers on a network. Three of them are using Windoze ME. The fourth is using Windoze 2000 SP2.
The Windoze 2000 box has a Lexmark 3200 Inkjet printer connected locally.
I am interested in using print sharing so the other computers are able to access the printer and print when needed, but I have not yet been able to make it work.
I install the drivers for the printer on each computer and map the computer to the shared printer. But when I attempt to send data to the printer, nothing happens.
I read in the help section that I need to actually go into the Windoze 2000 box and set it up for additional drivers, but the only choice it gives me are for Windoze NTx.x or Windoze 9x. NOT Windoze ME.
Is there any workaround for this??? If so, any help would be MUCH appreciated!!! I have tried using the Windoze 9x drivers and that wont work for some reason.
