I have a Canon iP4500 printer connected to my XPSP2 Home Desktop and shared with my XPSP2 Pro Laptop. The printer shows as being shared on both computers, but I can print to it only from the desktop. It will not print from the laptop. If I attempt to use notepad I get the message “the handle is invalid”. If I use Word, nothing happens at all.
Any suggestions?
