printer sharing XP and Win98

I have a peer to peer network with crossover cable. Both PC’s see each other, and I have copied and pasted between the two. Attempting to add the HP1220c printer connected to the XP box as a network printer on the 98 machine, but the printer does not show up. It is shared in XP, and I installed the 98 drivers for sharing the printer. Any thoughts?
