printer subsystem unavailable

By cliffordbtechie ·
I installed a dial up modem and my printer disappeared. When I try to reinstall I get the follow two errors "printer subsystem is unavailable and out of recourses. How do I find out how to correct the problem? I know little about IRQs. Help

I would check the devices thru the device manager if there is any conflict then remove both of them. Then use the Add New Hardware to add the devices and reinstall the drivers. I recommend to add the devices one at a time and let the system set up the resources.

there are no conflicts in device manager. IRQ 9 has many devices. do you have any other advice.
