printing errore

i am runing a loptot with XP in windows2003 domain i have a share printer on windows 2k when i print a document from laptop it printed alright but after some time printer status change ready to opening and an error message apear “pinter not found on a print server” then if i logoff or restart the system its working again for some time pls help me to findout and resolve the problem
