Printing Frames within Internet Explorer

by bigwazza . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

I have been running Internet Explorer on a Win95 machine for some time. Previously I was running IE4, then IE5, now IE5.5, and every time I print (mostly from the Tech Republic web site), I want to print just the required frame.

According to thehelp in IE4, IE5 and IE5.5, Click on the File Menu, then choose Print… When the dialogue box appears, choose the option you want (near the bottom) of “As laid out on the screen”, “Only the selected frame”, or “All frames individually”.

Most ofthe time I just want the selected frame, otherwise I would want “as laid out on the screen”.

The problem is this: This whole section is defaulted to “All frames individually” and is shaded, not allowing me to change anything. How can I select either of the other two options?
