Printing from Command line

I have a Windows 2000 machine and before I upgraded from NT I was able to print form the command line. Example If I have a program and I want commands to use if at the prompt I would Enter C:\ProgramName.exe > prn
If there are any command line switches it would send them to the printer or it would sent the program output to the printer. How can I get this back?
