I have a strange printing problem when using WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS through Windows98, second edition. (I have WordPerfect installed in the DOS area of my Windows98 PC). The first time I try to print I receive this error message: “This program has performed an illegal operation and will be terminated. Quit all programs and then restart your computer.” Under details, the message is “The program tried to execute an invalid instruction. Fault location: 0028:01BB. Interrupts in service: none.” I am forced to quit out of WordPerfect. If I go back into WordPerfect, the document prints fine. Please explain.
My PC is a Compaq 4784, 200 MHz, 80 MB RAM.
