Printing from IE7 causes XP to reboot

By pstoric ·
Every time I go to print a web page, XP reboots. The minidump points to win32k.sys. Tried sfc /scannow + reinstalling IE7 + restoring back to default settings. Nothing helped. Haven't seen this before, wondering if anybody has?

your Motherboard device drivers. win32k.sys might be conflicting with a Driver.

Update your Printer Drivers while you are at it.

You could also try this to clear out any problems..

1- Start Internet Explorer, click tools, internet options, then click delete cookies, delete files (check offline too) and clear history, one at a time.

2- Then click Start, programs, accessories, system tools, and then click Disk Cleanup and the following boxes.

3 -Open Windows Explorer and under My Documents create a new folder 'AdAware'.

4 -Go online and download AdAware SE (free version) to that folder:

5 -Open the AdAware folder, and install AdAware SE.

6 -Run it, and click on the 'planet Earth' icon and update AdAware SE (click 'connect').

7 -Once that is done, run AdAware SE full scan.

8 -When the scan is done, click the box(es) beside ANY Critical entries and continue.

9 -Download Spybot - S&D; create a NEW folder 'Spybot' in My Documents and save it there:

10-Open that folder, install Spybot, then run Spybot and do an 'Search for updates' immediately

11-After updating, do a 'Check for problems'

12-Anything in RED put a check beside and then click 'fix selected problems'

13-Assuming you are still in operation, defragment your drive.
