I have a printer share setup on a w2k print server. I need to be able to print from a NT 4 server to the w2k share printer. Whenever I try to install the additional nt4 driver, it asks me for the w2k server cd. I insert the cd, but receive a messagethat this is an invalid driver for your printer. (the printer is an hp 2100) When this did not work, I tried pointing it to the latest printer driver from HP. Unfortuantly, I can not upgrade the server at this time or change the print server to NT4.The application that I am running on the server is forcing me to print this way. The software requires a UNC path for the printer. Both the NT4 server and the print server running w2k pro have the most up to date sevice packs already applied.
Any suggestions?
