Printing from TAS5 on XP

By thakis666 ·
Ok, So TAS5 is about as new as a fossil, and trying to use it on XP is looking for trouble, but here is my problem anyway.
After getting a 'new' PC running on XP and schlicking my old HDD with into it, I ran TAS5 which at first had issues but later ran once I got its source directories sorted, I then proceeded to input data to my hearts content.
With hours to go before my bank manager needs the info I have, however, discovered that it will not print.

I have a Lexmark 3200 which prints fine from any other windows program, so I'm assuming it has something to do with DOS printing, I can not find any settings for it though.

Any ideas ?

Try setting up LPT1 to print to the printer. You can point it to a shared printer on your network. Say that \\MACHINE1 has a shared printer called PRINTER. To set up LPT1 to print to this printer, open a Command Prompt and type:

NET USE LPT1 \\MACHINE1\PRINTER

then try and print from your old program.

Hope this helps
