Printing from the lone iMac

by mc_user . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I have a single iMac running OS 9 on a TCP/IP based Novell network. Everyone else are running PC’s with W98, NT or 2000 on them. A proxie server dishes out addresses as needed.

The network administrator (who hates macs) has grudgingly got me a link on the network so that I can access the company intranet, but I cannot access any of the network services.

How do I print? No Appletalk services have been set up on the server. (Nor will they ever be.) No USB or ADB compatible printers available for a direct plug-in.

I do have the TCP address of a couple of local HP printers. But what do I do with them? How do I set this up?
