Printing issue

By shauncharles ·
I've got an HP 4350 Laser Printer installed on a windows 2003R2 network. The printer is shared from the print server and works fine for everyone with the exception of the user that uses it the most. When the user attempts to print to tray 2 it goes to tray 3, If the user chooses tray 2 and it has an envelope in tray 1 it prints the letter onto the envelope. No matter what I do or how I set the preferences on the print server it won't print where the users asks it to? I've printed to the printer as several different users from several different computers and it seems to work fine for everyone else. Any help is appreciated.

How is the printer connected to the computer. Is it through the network via a IP address or is it directly through the server via \\server\printer. If you look in printers does it say printer on server

Or does it just say printer.

Install the printer software on your computer..

And then point your computer to the printer, from there you will need to configure it from your computer what tray you want to print out from. Make sure that the printer is set up as bi-directional, that way you can see what is going on from the animation on your desktop.
Hope this helps you out some what.
