Printing Members of a Group

By Bobby Gillette ·
I am needing to get a print out of the members of a specific group on my domain. I am sure there is a command line utility that will allow me to export a list of the users in a group, I just don't know what that command is and its usage. Any help would be appreciated...

Use 'net group' for global groups or 'net localgroup' for local groups.

Eg. net localgroup administrators > administrators.txt

This will populate administrators.txt with members of the local administrators group.

Hope this helps.

In NT Resource Kit there is one utility called ADDUSERS. You can remotely use this tools. For the command syntax, just type ADDUSERS /?.

or, easiest way to do it is just download DameWare NT Utilities, run the export feature. You will see that option in there and also other useful export features. Great tool...
