Printing Multiple copies in Windows 2000

By jordan ·
I have run into this problem frequently. In windows2000 the print drivers for hp laserjets
does not print multiple copies even when they are set for such in the print driver setup. Nor does it print multiple copies if you choose it from the application.
Any thoughts

I had this problem on a Kyocera/Mita printer and fixed it by changing the driver on the server, deleting the printer connections on the Workstations and reinstalling them. I was using an NT server with a PCL Driver. I switched to the NT KPDL driver and it has worked fine.

check how many printers your OS shows you have. remove ones that you do not. (be careful in this as some programs use a "printer") the brand name is usually what will catch your eye.
check for updated printer drivers from HP and if none check with Microsoft for the same.
run diagnostics for printer from computer and then from printer.
