On a NT 4.0 workstation with a HP deskJet local printer (serial connection), while logged in as “Administrator” I can print to the local printer. While logged in as a normal user, when I try to print the local printer, the print job goes to the spool, then gets deleted. While logged in as a normal user and I try to print to a network printer, there are no problems If I give the normal user administrative privilages there is no change. The application prints to the spooler, then it is deleted by something.
