Printing Question

by lou . Updated 25 years, 8 months ago

1. Peer to peer network. 4 computers, running win 98, the main computer, running win NT 4.0. Each of the 4 computers, (not the main) all have an HP1600 printer attached via a parellel port. When in a program(anyone) on any of these 4 computers, you can click on file..print and it will print in ‘legal’ size paper.(default setting in Start..settings..printers) However, on the NT (main), if you click on file…print, it always defaults to ‘letter’ size paper, even though the default printer settings on the NT are the same as the other computers.
Question: What is causing the ‘main’ computer, not to see the ‘legal’ size default paper choice when doing a file..print command??
