Printing Using Windows Explorer

How do I print from Windows Explorer getting data off of a cd in my cd-rom drive which is drive letter “E”? I can easily print using drive letter “F” which is my cd writer. I go about it like this: dir >c:\(name of file).txt – using the “command” prompt of course. Then I just open up MS Word. If I do it exactly the same way through my cd-rom drive it doesn’t work. Can anyone out there give me some assistance?
