Privacy for messenger

So, basically, my friends in Russia are experiencing a local turmoil. The government wants to ban Telegram — one of the best messengers in my opinion — and people want to avoid it at all costs. They consider using VPN. I understand that most will look at lists like that and use whatever they find attractive. But I'm interested in what you think about that? What is the best way to ensure private and secure messaging?

There're many ways to do it but the most popular is VPN. I read a lot about it on and after that I was sure that's what I need

Since all data, if you're on BES, goes through BES it is probably a good idea to assume all of it is accessible by the admin.

For this, your friends should be used on any other device, like laptop, computer.

Hi, I've been using this app for a while now and from what I experience it does cool work, nothing seems wrong and I feel safer every time I use this in accessing my fave sites.

In my opinion, people will think about a new messenger. Some messengers considered in the article
Everyone can choose what they want.
