You can if you want to for extra security. Nothing wrong with that. It’s all a matter of preference.

Back in the day all Medical Monitors had to have Privacy Screens on them and where I now work I have Privacy Screens on all my monitors but I work in Secure areas where you do not want others to look over your shoulder and read what you are doing.

If you are working in Hugh Security areas then yes you most likely need one but if it is just for your own personal use the most likely thing to happen is you are going to loose the phone and then anyone who picks it up will be able to read you it displays so it is wasting money by putting a Privacy screen on it.

Yes, a privacy screen is a good investment if you frequently use your phone in public. It helps protect sensitive information like passwords, banking details, and private messages from prying eyes. If you value privacy, especially in crowded places, a privacy screen can provide extra security and peace of mind.

Yes, getting a privacy screen for your phone is a smart idea if you frequently use it in public, just like adjusting a pitching machine to improve accuracy. It helps protect sensitive information like passwords, messages, and social media activity from prying eyes, reducing the risk of “shoulder surfing.” If you often access personal or financial data in crowded places like public transport, cafés, or airports, a privacy screen is a worthwhile investment—just as fine-tuning a pitching machine enhances your batting performance.

This is totally up to personal preference. I believe if privacy is a concern for you, this is a very useful tool. If for some reason you don’t want to go through the trouble of getting yourself one, just be careful of who is around you and who could be shoulder surfing.

If you use your phone in crowded places, a privacy screen is a great way to prevent people from seeing sensitive information like passwords or personal messages. It’s a simple but effective security measure.
