Privileges Problem - URGENT

By technical ·
I have 2 clients who use W2K Server. Particularly at one of them, who use an SQL database - they can only access the database fully if they are a member of Domain Admins - this is also the case for my other client who is using Autoroute where it will only run if the user is a member of Domain Admins.

This however is not convenient nor a good idea for security reasons. What do I need to do to resolve this?

There's a couple of ways. One is to create a new group - SQLUsers, perhaps - in Win2K, add the authorized users to it, and grant proper rights to the group in the database itself. The other is to set up the database server (I'm assuming SQL Server) to handle its own security rather than using Windows security for access control, then grant the users access via the database server.
