Hi ,
I have a DELL inspiron 500m .
My boot .ini file is not working and thus i need to restore/repair windows by booting it from my CD DRIVE.
I use F12 and changed the boot sequence but for some reason it keeps picking the sequence of the boot order specified in the BIOS.
I entered the BIOS and made changes in the Boot order and pressed ESC to save changes and exit and thats when i realised my ESC button is not working. So i was unable to save my changed BOOT order.
May be i can try with an external USB key board , however i would assume that too will need to be installed before it can be used and my LAPTOP doenst boot , its says UNMOUNTABLE BOOT ERROR!
Is there a shorcut key in teh BIOS that will let me save changes ?
I need help urgently…any thoughts ideas are welcome on the same…
