I don’t know if this is more of a general question about VLAN’s, or if it’s more specific to my switch model. I’m trying to use the same switch with 2 separate networks: one is 192.168.10.0/24 and the other is 192.168.11.0/24. I want to keep the networks separate. My switch is a D-Link DGS-1216T and supports VLANs. The existing .10 network works fine and is on VLAN 01. I created VLAN 02 and moved 2 ports (15&16) to the new VLAN. I removed them from VLAN 01. When I plug devices into these ports, they cannot communicate. Am I missing something? Everything works fine on the other ports. Help is much appreciated. Thanx
