I’m having a major problem with pop-ups requesting me to connect to the internet, (when I’m already connected.) Until I cancel or respond to the pop-up any downloads occurring are hung. They can occur multiple times a minute. I’m running XP. I suspect a software program(s) wanting to check for updates perhaps, but don’t know how to track what is calling for the connection. Any ideas?
