Just purchased an enclosure to try and get the data off my old laptop’s hard drive (used to run XP, but now won’t boot) onto my other laptop running vista. So The new laptop recognises the hard drive but rather than saying it’s got so many GB’s out of 80GB free it says 3.77Mb of 10.1MB has been used (in ‘my computer’). In disk management it says that the drive is 75GB, as expected. When I try to view what’s on the hard drive there’s a load of folders that can’t be opened and some files that can’t be opened.
Any help would be much appreciated.
