Problem in Internet Explorer

I am having windows 98 and explorer 4.0. i enabled content advisor and put password also. unfortunately i forgot the password. i am unable to view web pages. i reinstalled the IE. Still the problem exists. Is there any possiblities in registry. please give solution...

For your question, you can follow the below steps to remove the forgotten passwo
rd under IE4.x:
1. Delete the Key value from the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Ratings

2. Restart the computer.
3. The next time the supervisor password is required, the user will be prompted
to enter and confirm a new one.

At the PASSWORD within the CONTROL pannel, change the password for other application!
Since I use the Chinese version, I do not know the exact wording in the English one.

Hello Bubloo

Answer 1 is okay, but after rebooting what you need to do is start IE, go to internet options, click the content tab, then disable or disble the content advisor - don't type any text - just click ok and everything should be hunky dory
