problem in windows NT domain

dear

i am having windows nt 4.0 server. our network consists of 3 windows nt servers. one of our nt server is showing unable to contact domain controller whenever i am trying to open usermanager or server manager. the clients are unable to logininto that domain. all our three servers are in separate network. what could be the problem. how i can tackle this situation.
