PROBLEM LOGGING TO NETWORK

By Shanghai Sam ·
I have recently upgraded 2 workstation to running WIN95 to WIn98SE and it could not log on to the server (win2000 server). Ther server could not log both this workstation as before when it was running win95. So I quess that should isolate any cabling or physical connection.

KIndly help

PROBLEM LOGGING TO NETWORK

You state that Win95 logged into network ok and now Win98 can not. I would first right click on network-hood, make sure only tcp/ip is listed. make sure client for ms networks is set, you have right domain name, and things like that. Next, right click my comuter make sure that the right nic is there in adapters. If this fails, try removing the nic and let PnP find it.
This should help.
