I have a couple of users with Palm Vx trying to synch meetings created in the Palm to Outlook 2000. The problem relates to the Show Time As function (free/busy/out of office). The meeting in Outlook has a Show Time As busy shown. However, if someone tries to check the Attendee Availability for that time, it is shown as available. The only way we have been able to get this to change is to go into the meeting, change the time to something like out of office, save it. Then go back in and change it to busy. The problem is that the users create many meetings on their Palms, and they don’t always remember which ones were created in Palm and which were created in Outlook. Plus, it’s a lot of extra work for them to go into each and every meeting and do the above steps. Does anyone know of any way to get the Show Time As function to work?
