I bought a new HP Laptop (vista), everything works fine, except the wireless internet. The signal is showing perfect, except no internet connection. Its my own router, and all the encryption code and everything is fine. Further, I am sharing the net with one of my friend, and his laptop is working fine. I tried contacting hp online agent, he gave me some advises, but none workd. I chat with them nearly 3 hours, but no use. Also, I used the ethernet connection, from my same router and its working perfect.

And the status of Ethernet connection showing as “Local and Internet”
