Problem with a Project Server, the size its too large

Im worked like a Project Manager, and sometimes, some of my projects files (conected trough Project Server) get too large, could anynone tell me, why????

PD, i do know that when there’s a circular reference it happens, but most of the times i don’t know why exactly//
