problem with cd-rw brand (acer)

ihave a pc133 socket370 m758lmr mainboard and the internal sound connections (cd1 & cd2 & aux 1) it has to connect to cd2 only and my other cd rom is already hooked to it and the aux 1 only has solder joints on it it doesnt have a plug so were do iconnect my rw drive to also i cant get nothing to copy onto it it keeps comming up with an era message not reconiseing it.thank you for all you help

1.)you need a sound card that supports 2 cd-roms
2.)try reloading the drivers thst came with your rw and make sure that you have it as slave and not master and that all your cables are tight to both the writer and the board--i had the same problem with my acer rw and it fixed when i reloaded the drivers

If the existing, standard, CDRom is connected to the input CD2, then you should be able to connect the RW drive to CD1, if the RW has to be on CD2 then swap the standard CD to CD1, although why you would want to do this escapes me. If you want to play audio CD's then whynot use the regular CDRom, and just use the burner for its intended purpose. As for the rest of your difficult to read message (how about switching on your spell/gramar checker) try re-installing the software, after un-installing the faulty original install.

have u set up one as master and the other as a slave as you can not run to masters
