Problem with DB2 Connect running on Windows 7 64 bit PC?

Hi I am having a problem with DB2 Connect running on a Windows 7 64 bit PC. I was working with DB2 Connect on my 32 bit system and then I was issued a new HP Windows 7 64 bit PC. I installed the DB2 Connect using the version and instructions that I was using on my old computer, DB2 Connect v9 Client. The connections were tested successfully according to the test during the configuration. Now I am getting 2 error messages, depending on which application I am using. The error I am getting when using Excel 2010 is “Driver’s SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed” and the other error message I get when using a small web app is “Initialization error with DB2 .NET Data Provider, reason code 10, tokens 0.0.0, 9.7.0”. What did I do wrong or is there something more that I need to do for the Win 7 64 bit system? I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks
