Problem with Dialup in XP

Are you aware of any bugs with dial up networking in Win Xp, There are times that I dial in and have access to the whole network and there are other times that I can only see PC’s that are currently dialed in to the RAS server. Also I have set my dial up to DHCP yet when I do a ipconfig /all the subnet is incorrect and it says no to DHCP enabled. There have been many other inconsistencies. I appreciate any light that you can shed on my problem. Thanks
