    Problem with Lumion(low performance)

    by Kirill Vodyakov ·

So I use a windows laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, Nvidia GeForce 3050 Ti and 16 Gb pf RAM(and also 500Gb SSD).I’m trying to use Lumion, but I just Connor work:the FPS is really low(1-5).I set minimal graphics setting, but fps is still low.I cleaned memory(now I have 156 Gb free) and also I cleaned RAM.It’s written that I have little space memory(like 100Mb).How can I fix this problem?or where I can find a solution?

https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403014277010-How-can-you-improve-performance-within-Lumion- and checking the specs, this laptop didn’t meet the minimum specs.

      At least it runs.

Considering the specifications of your Windows laptop, it should be capable of handling Lumion without any major issues. However, there are a few things you can check and try to improve the performance:

First, make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce 3050 Ti GPU. Updated drivers often include performance optimizations for specific software.

Next, check if there are any background processes or applications consuming system resources. Close unnecessary programs and disable any resource-heavy applications running in the background to free up system resources for Lumion.

Additionally, take a look at Lumion’s settings and ensure you have set it to use the dedicated Nvidia GPU rather than the integrated graphics. This can significantly boost performance.

You mentioned that you cleaned up memory and have ample storage space, which is great. However, it’s worth checking if there are any background processes or services causing memory usage. You can use the Task Manager to identify and close any unnecessary processes.

        I re-checked the minimum requirements.

That laptop fell short so at best the app will run, just not very well.

I didn’t comment but MEMORY CLEANERS haven’t been advised for decades. It’s possible they made the issue worse.
