Problem with MS dv camera and VCR driver

Hello

I just bought a 1394 card which is detected by windows 2000 automatically and the Texas instruments driver are installed. The camera works fine but it cannot be used with
Adobe premiere. Upon investigation I found that premiere needs the MS drivers instead of the TI.

Everytime i tried to install MS DV CAMERA AND VCR driver,
the system returns an error “an error occurred during the
installation of the device.
the required section was not found in the inf”

I installed sp2,directx8, and directx8 updater; but the
same thing is happening.

Can anyone tell me how to make the MS driver work?
Any information is greatly appreciated.
