Problem with “My Docs” folder on desktop

I redirected the folder to my mailbox on the server. I now want to move the target to another network machine. If I change the target and go find the target, it works, but will not store. It keeps reverting to the original mailbox path. I also can not delete the folder. Any suggestions?
