I have a Western Digital 160GB Passport Essential portable hard drive. I installed it a few months ago and downloaded the file My Pictures from my PC. I am running Windows XP. The installation and file copy was not problem.
Now, a few months later, as soon as I plug the passport into the USB port, Windows displays a “serious error” screen and forces me to shutdown.
Any ideas?
