I have a high-speed DSL connection sharing among 50 people in a building and was working fine over a year. Each floor has its own switch with ten users on each floor. There are around 20 users who are online at same time. The connection passes through router and an 8-port switch is connected to the router. The switch on each floor is than connected to that 8-port switch.
The problem: the connection keeps on cutting off every 20-30 mins and works fine after the main switch (8 ports) is restarted. After restarting the switch, it works fine for 20-30 mins and it has to restart again. I changed the main switch and the other switches on the floors and also made sure the wiring is proper. After changing all switches, the same problem started again after 2 months and works fine when the main switch is restarted and this time the connection drops after 10 mins. So i again changed the main switch once the problem started again and now this has become a daily routine.
Tried to solve the problem, but was unable to solve, can someone help or any suggestion .
