First of all the buttons were not working. For example, when i pressed Q,W,E,T,Y, etc i was getting numbers and symbols. Then it was telling me that i had no more memory left when in fact i had 55mb. And finally i was trying to load up a program and it wouldnt load as i was running on low memory and the only way to load the program was to go to control panel and change the colors to 16. i did this and it crashed. Now nothing loads up. Not even the startup screen although i can hear the start-up sfx through the speakers. A PC world assistant told me that the screen may be broken, it is not uncommon. But i know for a fact that the LCD screen is not broken as the main windows boot up thingy appears. It is quite an old laptop with Windows 98 dulux edition, i dont want to format it as i have some important coursework on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.
