Problem with web page counters in IIS 5

By lirvin ·
I have recently updated my network with a a new PIX firewall and placed my web server in the DMZ zone. The web server was placed on a new server with a basic Win 2K build. I have placed all security hot fixes and servers packs on the server to date.
The problem I am encounting is that every time the web site is updated I loose the counters and the forms quit working. When I go to the IIS manager and recalculate the pages and have it check the front page extensions they start working again. I have trolled the Microsoft web sight and found no answers. Any ideas has to take care of this annoying problem

Thanks in advance

How are you updating the website? Are you using FTP? FTP is notorious for 'breaking' FPSE's. If you are going to use FP components, you need to use FP to update the content.
