Hola

by santeewelding In reply to problemas con pointsec

What I get so far is:

"Hello. My name is Gabriela Carca. The problem that I have is that I ran a process for the de-installation of Pointsec, but the information..."

Then, I lose it, making out only parts and pieces of the rest.

Lo siento. Try in English. I came halfway, but failed.

if I understand correctly, you have a Pointsec encrypted drive that you slaved to another PC, and cannot read it. If this is the case then when you try to see the drive it should say that the drive is not formatted would you like to format it.

Assuming that this encrypted drive is yours, you should have the key to unlock it, if you do not then it is not your drive.

If it is your drive and you have lost the key then contact Pointsec, now Checkpoint.

Good luck.

Joined time/post time. Don't think you are really in Mexico, unless they changed the clocks.

Hello my name is Gabriela Carca?o. The problem I have is the following:
I ran a process to uninstall Pointsec, but the info was already ciphered. Now when I connect the HDD as slave I get an error indicating the unit is damaged. I'm sure it isn't a physical damage, but rather the cypher doesn't let me see it.

My question is, is there a way to see my drive once Pointsec is uninstalled or is there a way to reinstall Pointsec 6.3.1 so I can see the drive again?
Please help!!!

sounds like every angle has been covered already.
Contact checkpoint, or the police. Either one will help obtain.
