Problems accessing Java developed websites

By collentakawira ·
I am having very slow connections to java developed websites but normal ones when connecting to other websites. I am using IE6.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Very strange...

Are you talking Java on the back end (e.g. jsp's) or sites with embedded Java objects that get pushed (downloaded) to the browser? How do you tell what the site is in fact developed with? From the browsers point of view a server-side anything should simply render as HTML. Do you have a virus-gateway perhaps that dislikes JSP pages? Is it a first time only or every time? If you will oblige me a tad then try one of our sites (www.icrm.org - check out career oppurtunities - that is a pure jsp page) and let me know if the speed issue still holds.

Is it Java or Javascript?

I think you mean Javascript. The two are unrelated.

Javascript can definitely affect how fast a site will load. The browser will pause to load every javascript file on a page.
